Nepali cooking competition completed RTRK Hotel School in Itahari.
The RTRK Hotel School run in Itahari has completed the Nepali cooking competition with the slogan "Besar-Timmur to Jimbu Samm". Nabina Khatiwada won the first place, Prashant Rai won the second place and Arpan Basnet won the third place in the competition organized jointly by RTRK Hotel School and Gastronomy Association of Nepal with the aim of promoting Nepali original food and promoting tourism.
In the competition, it is said that materials and herbs spicy from the plains to the mountains will be used. Prem Tumbapo, the owner of RTRK Hotel School, said that the purpose of the competition is to connect Himal Pahad Terai through food. Food in itself is a science which is believed to be an important link in human civilization and through its use opens the way for visitors and guests to develop as a food tourism destination, Tumbapo said.
By promoting the natural or seasonal foods produced in the Tarai Hills and Himalayas in the competition, the environment can be saved directly without polluting our environment. Carbohydrates, healthy proteins, vegetables, whole grains etc. were used for preparing healthy hygienic balance food. Narayan Thapalia, Shahi Sharma, Shandeep Khatri, Gaganman Shrestha Vasudev Baral, Bikram Shri and others were present in the program under the chief hospitality of Krishna Shah, member of Nepal Tourism Board.
